Kenyan savanna beneath a wide sky

Destinations

Kenya

Mara, mountain, and open sky — Kenya's landscapes hold the classic safari imagination.

About this destination

Where the wild
feels like home.

Kenya is where many travellers first meet Africa — and with good reason. The Maasai Mara's open grasslands, Amboseli's elephants beneath Kilimanjaro, and Laikipia's private conservancies offer wildlife density and variety that few places match.

Beyond the famous parks, Kenya rewards slower travel: walking safaris with Samburu guides, cultural visits to Maasai manyattas, and nights in canvas camps where the only light comes from the fire and the stars. The infrastructure is mature, the guiding profession is deep, and the connections between people and place are genuine.
